GOVERNANCE: Planning structures are defined in Law and Commissioner Regulations.
FUNDING: Like BOCES, RICs are funded through services purchased by local school districts.
SERVICES: Services are provided in accordance with service descriptions aligned with needs of local districts.
REGIONAL VARIANCE: Services vary by RIC as defined by their respective regions.
NYSED COLLABORATION: RICs often provide resources to support NYSED initiatives and programs.
