VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS
REGIONAL INFORMATION CENTERS (RICs) ESTABLISH, MANAGE, MONITOR, AND EVALUATE VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS TO REDUCE RISKS AND DRIVE INNOVATION IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL, REGIONAL, AND STATE PRIORITIES.

SUPPORTING SCHOOL DISTRICTS
Vendor Relationships are a key component in ensuring that educational technology and services meet the highest standards of quality and security. The New York State Regional Information Centers (RICs) establish, manage, monitor, and evaluate vendor relationships to reduce risks and drive innovation, all in support of local, regional, and state priorities. This includes developing contracts, securing data privacy agreements, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. By carefully overseeing these relationships, the RICs help districts navigate the complexities of vendor management, ensuring that the tools and services they rely on are both effective and secure, ultimately contributing to the success of the educational community.
